More riots to remember Jaime Mendoza Collío

Last Tuesday August 26, a group of students from the UMCE, made a meeting outside the University.

The reason was to show solidarity with mapuche people and to remember Jaime Mendoza Collío, assassinated by a police man in the chilean south when he was recovering the land that the chilean state stolen from their people.

After shutdown the traffic with banners and garbage, riot police showed up throwing tear gas bombs and raiding the place, where they hurt a student in the head. That turn on the rage of the students who confronted police for hours. 10 people got arrested.
