Thousands of students, workers, environmentalists and diverse social fighters were early in the morning in the streets of Valparaiso, to reproach to the president Piñera and all his gang of traitors to one’s country that neither the education, nor the health and much less the land and the water are for sale.
 
Around 4 hours of battle and street resistance interrupted the momentary passivity of a port that is not ready to see how the ruling class and the military wandering in their streets smiling.

This last Friday 13th, a new demo against the project hidroaysén was hold in Santiago. This project is rejected by a hight percent of the population because of the environmental damage it’s going to make in the chilean south, drowning forests and setting up electric cables for 3000km.

Like the days Monday and Tuesday, this Friday around 20000 people rally from plaza italia. The column was stopped by police “asked to take an alternative route”. The negative of the demo to do that get as result a strong repression by police and several clashed between protesters and the dogs of the state.

And like police was unable to stop the demo, the protest reached the house of the state and the riots that made that possible were hold for several hours.

This May 12, around 25k students answered the call of students and labor organizations to rally from plaza italia, asking for better payment methods and other benefits for college degrees. The call got reception in several places in Chile, with big demos in Valparaís, Valdivia and others.

In Santiago, the demo was blocked to take another path to get at Bulnes square, where presidents of the students federation gived speeches. At the same time students confronted police for hours, with a result of several arrests and people hurt by tear gas bombs.

On May 9th, after the approval of the environmental destructive project Hidroaysén thousands of people decide to rally in downtown santiago to protest against this action. Police tried to stop the demo, and that started strong night riots.

This last Thursday 8000 students (from public and private colleges) rally from Parque Forestal to Plaza los Héroes in Santiago against educational politics from the government. The students asks for the end of the educational finance system that keeps students with debts for years because of the interests that state and the banks apply to college education.

From other sectors the critics target the commerce on education that happens in every level of the educational system. The rally ended with street blockades and several detained people.

April 27th, 19hrs. Police tried to stop the demo of friends, comrades and relatives of the kidnapped antiauthoritarians and anarchists using that state setup. Asking for an ID they thought the demo will stop, but it was made anyway because solidarity will always be stronger than state boikots.

On April 26th environment activists in solidarity with Aysen’s residents, rally for make the government stop their plans for install several dams in the chilean south, damaging the life and geography of the place forever

Several people gathered today to expose the situation of the comrades that are holding a hunger strike since 60 days ago, facing jail charges because of the “caso bombas” setup.

With a play, several informative flyers the meeting was held without problems, but some TV and Papers cameras came to help their masters in their cruzade of stigmation… but some dogs decided to attack them

After 12 pm, a group of about 50 masked individuals came from the Universidad de Chicle to block traffic on Av. Grecia, in a further show of strength and solidarity in the war against authority and those who are off the street … either by judicial kidnapping or direct killing … as a result of taking an active role against domination.

“Neither persecution, torture or imprisonment can stop those who have determined to be free and to free their brothers and sisters,” read a pamphlet displayed on site.

Today is the day 50 that prisoners from the “caso bombas” state setup are holding a hunger strike against the justice bullshit and lies.

People in solidarity with the prisoners, took an action climbing into a street sign on Downtown Santiago. Showing a big banner and throwing flyers to denunce this state setup that is keeping our comrades in prison from more than 180 days and that it looks that will not have an end in the short term.
